A Brief Ode to the Creepy Weirdo Whom I Made Eye Contact With This Morning

Random guy with the creepy eyes
Stare through my soul as I drive by
You in your hoodie, me in my tie
But I never got your name.

Central Square’s a friendly place
As I drove by you saw my face
Eye contact I’d like to erase
But I never got your name

What’s your story? Good or bad?
Cop or killer? Lame or rad?
You could be homeless or undergrad
But I never got your name

It’s true I don’t know who you are
Accidentally locking eyes from afar
Are you past it already or is your mind ajar?
But I never got your name

Strange strangers going on our ways
Main actors each in separate plays
Even though, ’til the end of days
You’ll never get my name

My other friend who lives in Boston wrote a Hiku in his blog this morning:

    Angery man in car
Drives by, with red look of kill
    To me, kind street man

    You two should get together!
